The Nod Team

Opening Nod to our first hiring teams

Today we are opening Nod to its first hiring teams, by invitation.

Nod is a way to see how candidates work before you hire them. You tell it who you are looking for, and it creates a realistic simulation of the role: the tools, the colleagues, the unfinished work. Candidates spend a stretch of time inside it, and you read what they did rather than what they said they would do.

What is opening

Until now Nod has been something we built, tested and showed people. From today, a small number of teams can use it on their own hiring. You describe the role. Nod creates the simulation and shows it to you before anyone else sees it. You invite candidates, and you read the results as they come in, with the work itself one click away from every judgement.

Why by invitation

We are looking for teams who want to help shape how hiring works. We want to work closely with them: understand their roles, hear what they learn from candidates, and improve Nod around real hiring. That is why we are opening access selectively.

Full access from the start

Invited teams get full access to Nod, with no simulation or candidate limits. Build for the roles you are hiring, invite your candidates, and use the complete results. We want you to use Nod in your hiring and help us shape what comes next.

Who it suits

Teams hiring for roles where the work happens at a computer and can be seen: engineering, analysis, finance, operations. If you can describe what a good first week looks like, Nod can usually build it. We are also clear about what it cannot do yet, and the use cases pages say so.

How to ask for an invite

Request an invite with your work email. That is all we need to put you on the list. There is a single optional box straight afterwards to tell us who you are hiring for and how Nod would help. It helps us understand your team as we review invitations. When your invitation is ready we will email you.

If you know a team that should see this early, send them this page.
